Here's a better way to remove broken screws, bolts or studs. These extractors have a square tapered profile preferred by professionals. They grip more securely, won't bind and won't spread the screw against the hole. There's less chance of breakage and removal is easier. Handles fasteners from 1/4in. to 5/8in. dia. Drill size is stamped on each piece.
